Skincare? Check!

Haircare? Check!

Scalp care? Hmm. That is one very important zone that bridges both skin and hair, yet is chronically ignored by the beauty gurus.

Recording artist Lizzo recently discussed her wellness routine with The New York Times and didn’t gloss over the importance of scalp care.

Finding the Right Products to Care for Your Scalp

“I’m just getting hip to the skin on top of your head being as important as your face,” Lizzo explains. “There are pores there. They can get clogged. Shelby Swain [her hair stylist] has this steamer that I sit underneath, and we’ll put a little peppermint oil and jojoba oil and steam my scalp. That’s my favorite new hair practice.”

It’s true that the pores on your scalp can become congested, both with sebum (our skin’s oil) and product. Despite the rumors in the bald-o-sphere, clogged pores on the scalp won’t cause hair loss, since the cause of hair loss is genetics and hormones. But it certainly doesn’t help. And it can definitely impede absorption of helpful topical treatments, like Minoxodil or Revivogen Scalp Therapy.

This seriously cleans your scalp. I get buildup of product, oil, dandruff. This is the only product I've ever found that actually exfoliates the scalp.

To get the healthiest scalp, whether your hair is thinning or not, a gentle deep-cleaning shampoo a few times a week is essential. But to go the extra mile, a scalp exfoliation does wonders. If you aren’t hanging with Lizzo and her scalp specialist, a simple product is the answer.

Revivogen Pro Exfoliating Scalp Cleanser is a foam that removes oils, product, pollution and other gunk from the pores of your scalp. Applying the foam about five to ten minute before showering allows the bubbles to penetrate the skin on your head for a deep, deep clean. With a very strong tingle, you’ll know it’s working. Used weekly, your scalp will feel healthier and cleaner and your hair loss topical treatment will absorb better.

And that will leave you feeling good as hell.

I was on the search for a product that would actually cleanse my scalp of all the residue from heavily using heat protectant sprays, hairspray, and dry shampoos since I dye my hair all the time.

I tried practically ALL of the 'deep-cleansing' products I could get my hands on, but none left me with that "clean" salon-fresh feeling I was hoping for, but this definitely does the trick! Not only does my scalp feel refreshed, but it also feels healthier! Would definitely recommend trying this product!
