what exactly is dead hair? I say this because you say that daed hair cannot be treated. And technically if your hair is thining, isn't it becoming dead hair too?
Dear Sott,
The term dead hair refers to the follicles being dead. When your hair is thinning the follicles are becoming miniaturized. This process is called miniaturization and at this point the hair can be restored but after 5 years most follicles die. When the follicle is dead the hair falls out and cannot be regrown. This is typically shown with a bald and sometimes shiney scalp.
