Revivogen and Minoxidil

Name: Jason
Question:

This question has been asked a few times, though I've seen a few different responses. Is it recommended to just use Revivogen without the use of minoxidil? I understand both can be used, and it seems that using Minoxidil in the morning and Revivogen at night is the best routine, just wondering if there are added benefits to combining treatments?

Last question, I've used Minoxidil for just over 2 months, experienced some intial shedding but not much, if I switch (or add) over to Revivogen do you think I will experience more initial shedding by adding it to the routine?

many thanks

Hi Jason
Thank you for your interest in Revivogen. Although, Minoxidil stimulates hair regrowth, it does not stop or prevent hair loss. Revivogen also stimulates hair regrowth, and more importantly Revivogen stops and prevents hair loss by blocking DHT.

Propecia and Minoxidil are pharmaceutical options for treatment of male and female pattern hair loss. Revivogen is the only product that offers you a natural yet effective alternative to Propecia and Minoxidil. Revivogen is formulated by doctors, and based on medical facts and independent scientific studies Revivogen has an 88% rate of success far above that of any other treatment.

Revivogen contains natural active ingredients that have been scientifically proven to be the most potent inhibitors for production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone responsible hair loss. In fact, the main active ingredient of Revivogen has been proven in clinical studies to:
Reduce DHT production even more effectively than Propecia.
Activate the hair follicles similarly to Rogaine.
Block the androgen receptors and prevent DHT uptake. Not done by Propecia or Minoxidil.

You can use Revivogen in combination with Minoxidil as long as you wait 3 hours in between applications. Other customers have said they used Revivogen at night before bed and Minoxidil in the morning.
You will have much better results using Revivogen as compared to Minoxidil as Revivogen treats both hair loss as well as stimulates hair growth.

When using Minoxidil, it is important to gradually taper off usage. If you were to stop using Minoxidil
you would immediately start shedding. I suggest that you use both Revivogen and Minoxidil together as stated above, Revivogen at night and Minoxidil in the morning, then begin to taper off the Minoxidil, that way you experience less a chance of shedding.

Concern over shedding is understandable. If you understand the growth cycle it may help ease your concerns. The hair follicle goes through cycles of growth, rest, and shedding. Once the hair follicle has reached the end of its growth cycle it enters the resting phase were the hair production is stopped and the hair is detached from the bulb. At this point the hair will fall within a few months regardless and this happens when the hair follicle tries to grow a new hair. Depending on how many hairs you have in the resting phase you will experience a shed sometimes not even noticeable when the hair follicles are stimulated to grow again. You do have to remember that it is normal to shed 100-150 hairs a day with or without a hair loss problem. The other hair follicles which are still in the growth phase will continue growing, as they will be protected by the formula. So the shedding only involves the hairs that were already going to fall within the next three months and these hairs will grow back. Also, Revivogen speeds up the growth cycle so it will cycle through the stages faster creating more growth.
Minoxidil focuses on keeping hair in a growth phase elongating the active growing phase, thus shortening the shedding phase. Although, when you discontinue use your scalp responds by going into shock manifesting in hyper shedding. It is very important to slowly wean usage before discontinuing.
