Revivogen Conditioner

Name: David
Question:

Dear Dr Khadavi,
I have just bought a few bottles of the Revivogen Hair Thickening Conditioner as I've heard alot of good things about it and its ability to thicken existing hair.
However, what concerns me are the ingredients. I noticed that the conditioner contains Dimethicone Copolyol and Dimethiconol(two types of silicone). The problem is that I am using Rogaine 5% and appearantly shampoos and conditioners containing silicone should not be used while using Rogaine as the silicone build up on the scalp making it more difficult for the Minoxidil to be absorbed by the scalp.

What do you think about this? How much silicone does the product contain? Do you think it will have any impact on the absorption of minoxidil?

Regards,
David

Dear David,
There is no study showing any side effects with silicon on the scalp or its ability to decrease the ability of Minoxidil from absorbing on the scalp.
